A very common goal of all that take their health seriously is how to improve their diet. Recent pushes of gluten free and vegan diets have made vegetarians feel they are not doing enough. Let alone those of us that dare to eat an all inclusive diet.
Below is a food pyramid that diagrams what is known as an Anti Inflammation Diet. In the not so distant past this was known as a Mediterranean diet, with a few changes. This is probably the best way to focus on diet without following a plan that concentrates on what not to eat. This is just about what to eat and how much of each to eat.
Use this as guide not as an absolute. Most important is to include herbs and spices. ½ teaspoon of cinnamon a day is fantastic addition to any diet. When ever you eat be sure that many colors are represented and you will be doing the best you can do. As always water is essential and soft drinks, tea and coffee do not count as part of your water intake.
Lastly, follow this plan 90% of the time. Then when that summer BBQ arrives, enjoy, you can get back to your diet the next morning.
