HONEY---HELP ME!

HONEY HELP ME

Up until the 1940’s and the proliferation of antibiotics, honey was the treatment of choice.  It could be used on wounds and various skin conditions to limit infection and aide in recovery.  That is due to the anti-bacterial property of honey.  This is proven to you in your cabinet where you keep your honey.  It does not need refrigeration and when did you buy that bottle or jar of honey?  So long ago you do not remember.  It does not spoil.  It is anti-bacterial.

It is time to start using that honey, possibly daily or at least 3 times a week.

Use it in your tea.  Put some on your oatmeal, on your cereal or in your yogurt.  Put some in your protein drink, use some in a recipe that calls for sweetening.  You will find many places to get in your teaspoon per day average.

Certainly, this time of year with colds and flu and just general malaise in full bloom, adding honey, can make your days much sweeter!
