One of the most common injuries among avid golfers is lower back pain resulting from constant one-directional rotation from the back swing to the follow-through. Unfortunately, a golfer never allows the trunk muscles to coil and uncoil in two directions like a tennis player does, balancing forehand with backhand swings. Recurring muscle strain can be prevented by adding a reverse or opposite-handed practice swing before each regular practice swing.
Then swing away!
