HOW TO INCREASE WATER INTAKE AND LIMIT "OUT-TAKE"

It is a complaint I will hear from old and young, male and female patients time and again.  "I am feeling achy, fatigued and have clouded thinking."  Barring any physiological conditions or sickness the easy answer is always water.  It is a the most commonly forgotten nutrient and the one that will do the most for you in all areas.  The old standby of 8 glasses a day sound good but not practical.  After 3 glasses, you will feel like you had 8 and stop, or you will lose count and get 3-4 on average.  Of course, that is better than zero but you can do better.

You must drink little amounts often, every day to get the benefits.  Initially you will complain of running to the bathroom too often, however, once your body stabilizes and keeps the water intra-cellular (inside the cells) you will see the number of trips reduce.  Little amounts often, means having a bottle on your desk or counter and knowing you must finish it by the end of the day.  Have a glass with breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Where ever you spend most time have some with you.  Carrying a container is best and environmentally better than running through plastic bottles.

You will feel your best as your hydration improves!
